IdeaHouse is where fans help shape upcoming movies, shows and games. It works when ideas are specific, criticism is honest, and everyone can disagree without being driven away. These guidelines apply to ideas, comments, video responses, profiles and reports.
Every piece of project information on IdeaHouse carries a label: Official (from the studio itself), Reliably reported, Rumoured, or Community speculation. IdeaHouse isn’t affiliated with the studios whose projects appear here, and a project page doesn’t mean a studio endorses it, unless the page is marked as verified.
Organisations that take part on IdeaHouse may respond to and categorise ideas, but they may not remove legitimate criticism.
Use Report in the menu on any idea, comment, video response or profile. Reports go to moderators and aren’t shown publicly. Someone you report won’t be told who reported them.
You can also block someone from their profile. They won’t be able to comment on your ideas or reply to your comments, and you won’t see their comments. Manage blocks in Settings.
If something on IdeaHouse contains your copyrighted work, or leaked or confidential material, report it with the reason Leaked or confidential content. Moderators review these reports first and remove material that shouldn’t be here.
If you’re a rights holder without an account, send a notice that identifies the work, links to the material onIdeaHouse, and gives a way to reach you.
For copyright notices, use the support page. A dedicated contact address will be added before public launch.
Moderators review every report. Depending on what they find, they may take no action, record a warning, hide or remove content, or suspend an account for a set time or permanently. Every decision is recorded with a reason, and mistakes are corrected with a new recorded decision rather than by rewriting history.
While suspended, an account can still browse but can’t post, support, comment, report or answer the pulse. Contributions are also limited to a steady pace to keep spam out: if you hit a limit, wait a little and try again.
Think a decision was wrong? Reach out through the support page and a moderator will take another look.
